Asset Flywheel

The five-stage cycle used to describe how an internet asset moves from idea to buyer-ready property: Build, Grow, Measure, Monetize, Exit.

The Asset Flywheel is Smart Internet Investing's core model for describing the lifecycle of an internet asset. Each stage feeds the next: building creates something worth growing, growing creates something worth measuring, measuring reveals what is worth monetizing, and monetizing proves what is worth exiting or holding.

Unlike a linear funnel, a flywheel implies the cycle can repeat: proceeds and lessons from an exit often fund the next build.

Example

A niche site is built around a search-demand gap, grown through SEO and structured data, measured through Search Console and analytics, monetized through affiliate and lead-gen revenue, and eventually packaged with an Asset Passport for a possible sale.
